Overview
Two general methodologies have been developed and presented for the implementation of quantum circuits capable of directly measuring local unitary invariants on quantum computers. These methods were specifically applied to important three-qubit invariants. Their practical utility was demonstrated on the IBM Quantum Platform, where they were utilized for the measurement of significant entanglement measures associated with three qubits.
Approach
The research centered on the development of two distinct general methods for constructing quantum circuits. The primary objective of these circuits is the direct measurement of local unitary invariants. Following their theoretical formulation, these methods were then operationalized. The specific application involved important three-qubit invariants. For empirical demonstration, the developed circuits and methodologies were deployed and tested on the IBM Quantum Platform. This platform was used to showcase the direct measurement capabilities for prominent entanglement measures pertaining to three-qubit systems.
Findings
The study successfully developed and presented two general methods for implementing quantum circuits. These circuits are designed for the direct measurement of local unitary invariants. The methods were specifically worked out for important three-qubit invariants. Furthermore, these implementations were demonstrated on the IBM Quantum Platform, particularly for important entanglement measures of three qubits.
